
HIGHLAND PARK
VOYAGE OF THE RAVEN

I designed the bottle and packaging for Highland Park Voyage of the Raven.
The first in a series of GTR exclusive releases. This design followed on from the rebrand, using the new logo & typeface that I created at Mountain CDC.

The raven was seen as good luck by the early Vikings on the high seas and in battle. Since this magical bird was believed to be the eyes and ears of the Norse god Odin, you can find the raven symbol on many longship sails.
But the raven also served a more practical purpose. When Vikings were exploring at sea, they’d release a raven. If it did not return, they knew that land was nearby.

The release was supported by this main Key Visual, telling the story of the Raven guiding the Viking ship to land in stormy seas. The raven can also be seen on the sail of the longship and tells the tale in this dramatic image.


I designed a micro site to support the launch of this new product, as it was a limited Edition GTR Exclusive that would go on to form the starting point of a new GTR collection.
